At Cheese Please quality produce is at the heart of our business. Specialising in local Sussex produce, we source the very finest foods from small independent producers. Cheese is naturally the essence of what we do. Painstakingly we taste our way through a plethora of cheeses from small producers to provide a full and varied range of British and continental cheese, it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it! We are lucky enough in the UK to be producing some of the world’s finest artisanal cheeses, it is our aim at Cheese Please to support these small producers and keep their wonderful product on the shelves and in our stomachs.

For over 10 years Cheese Please has been providing Sussex locals and visitors alike with the very best range of British and continental artisanal Cheeses. In 2018 owner and founder Fiona Kay took her well-earned retirement, closing her high street shop but keeping her long established space at Lewes Friday Market.

Cheese Please is now reopen under new management in its original position on Lewes High Street, stocking not only cheese but all that accompanies it - wine, chutneys, crackers, olives and much more. With a passion for local produce we also stock local honey, nut butters and locally blended teas.

We also have a market every week at Lewes Friday Market in Market Tower, here we sell local cheeses and organic Eggs from Springles Farm in Barcombe
