Beauvale
This rich and indulgent soft blue is made with pasteurised cow's milk at the Cropwell Bishop Creamery, Cropwell Bishop, Nottinghamshire. It was launched in 2011, and in 2017 Beauvale was announced Best Blue Cheese at the annual British Cheese Awards. If you are a fan of Gorgonzola Dolce, you will love this!
This is a full flavoured creamy blue; savoury with just a tiny hint of spice. When young it is firm textured but with age becomes more runny in the centre. Delicious as a cheeseboard favourite, but melts dreamily to make it a perfect addition to pasta and risotto dishes.
