The flavour of Comte is unique – nutty and complex. This Comte is made from unpasteurised cows' milk in the Franche-Comte region of Eastern France. It is matured for 18 months making it a deliciously smooth and fruity cheese for a cheeseboard; but it has many other uses, including as a great fondue cheese! And what a wonderful comfort food fondue can be in these uncertain days as the nights are drawing in.

Our cheeses will arrive to you wrapped in a waxed paper, this allows for it to breath keeping it in the best condition for consumption. If you plan on keeping your cheeses for longer, remove from its wax paper and wrap in cling film.
