Ouse Valley Boarshead Pear Chutney with Juniper

Named after a hamlet where the pears are grown just south of Tunbridge Wells and produced by Ouse Valley foods. Founded in 2004, Ouse Valley have been producing award winning chutneys, jellies and sauces for over a decade. One of our favourite Sussex producers. 
 
Fresh pears and crushed juniper berries add a scented flavour to this delicately balanced chutney. Most of the sweetness is achieved through a subtle balance of dates and fruit and it remains one of the very best accompaniments to a variety of hard and soft, strong cheeses
