What can better an excellent 36 months aged Parmigiano Reggiano!  The variety we stock uses unpasteurised milk.  And we are careful, as always, to store our cheese in the ways that will ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.  Of course, Parmigiano Reggiano will store well for many weeks if wrapped in paper and kept cool.

This cheese has had a unique and extraordinary journey, one that has lasted a thousand years and continues to this day in the same places, with the same passion and the same ingredients. This is a justifiably fiercely protected PDO. The production of milk, its processing into cheese, minimum maturation and packaging take place exclusively in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna to the left of the river Reno and Mantua to the right of the river Po. 

The strictness of the standards that allow a cheese to use this D.O.P. guarantee an excellent cheese.  It is so difficult to describe, granular and nutty?  That undefinable 'umami'. It is a unique cheese!

    Our cheeses will arrive to you wrapped in a waxed paper, this allows for it to breath keeping it in the best condition for consumption. If you plan on keeping your cheeses for longer, remove from its wax paper and wrap in cling film.

    We guarantee 7 days shelf life on all cheeses and accompaniments.
